Members of the Emergency Preparedness Interagency Collaborative (EPIC) came together for their joint tabletop exercise. A joint partnership between public safety agencies and public and private education institutions in the Greater Irvine (California) area, EPIC meets quarterly to discuss, plan and prepare for a variety of school related emergencies.
This year's tabletop exercise was hosted at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach and was focused on violent intruder response and recovery. Attendees included expert representatives from:
